PLEASE help me... false reporting ?
This has been happening too much. I am so sick of it. I can NEVER do anything right. I know people in rl that play, and nothing like this EVER happens to them. It's only me... ANYWHERE I GO.
So today, I went in a group. They asked me if I could solo cap. Yeah, I can solo cap. So we entered the battle, and after I while I ran to a shrine to kill the people at it... well another teammate comes up [I had no energy to kill the whole thing] so he died. He wasn't attacking. Then he starts flaming me, and then the whole party reported me for leeching because I j ust "cost them a win" WTF? I was definitely not leeching, I was playing the whole time. So now I can't do any PvP battles for who knows how long. Is there anyway to let Anet know what really happened? I don't understand people... the whole battle they were just running around wanting me to kill things, then would scream at me when I'd die. And I don't want to lose my account over bastards. Is there anything to do? I really hate this report feature. Yeah, I can see reporting someone for leeching if they've been standing there 5 minutes, but I WAS FIGHTING THE WHOLE TIME, NEVER LEFT OR STOOD STILL. Doesn't Anet monitor the reports?! And how long does the "dishonerable" thing last? Is there anyway to report their asses back? |

Take a screen cap, you can probably put in a support ticket for that. Not sure though. Dishonerable doesn't last too long 1 minute per point and needs 10 to get it?
Since they're abusing it, they could probably lose their accounts over it. Not sure. |

A-Net does take action against people who abuse the report feature, but i do feel that at times it's a bit broken.

Take the matter to Anet. The Dishonorable status is temporary and there's nothing we can do for you, even if we did care.

You won't get reported for this, since you're in an AB group im assuming. Take out yourself that's 3 people that reported you. Unless some other guy reported you, otherwise you didn't get "fully reported" since you need 4 people to report you to get "fully reported".
So now all 4 of you just recieved 2 dishonor points. |

No, AKB48, that is incorrect. If half your team reports you, it sticks. BUT... in the event described, we're talking about a 10-minute timeout, followed by an hour of clean play leading to everything being right as rain.
My suggestion for how you should handle your ABing is: join groups not expecting you to do everything for them, and don't just stand still when you are out of energy. You can wand/slice/shoot/stab/throw assuming you don't have empathy on you. My smite monk, while recharging his skills, will chase after his target to bluff them into not fighting back. It's pretty funny, actually. By the time they get the courage to stop and fight, my monk's skills are ready to chain again and energy is where I need it. Only be still while you are dead, and even then, be thinking about what you're going to do when you're up again. |
